Had fun messing with dashcode today. Takes very little time to build a little web app based on an rss feed, and the end result is a mobile version of this site here. It even works when offline in Safari, though not when added to the homescreen, for some reason I can't yet fathom. Short link dump:

So in an earlier post, I complained about vimperator not being available for Safari. Well, like anyone else that's completely nuts would do, I decided to pull myself up by my own bootstraps and have a go. You may find (and install) my limited but functional beginnings here.

Trying out the new Safari 4 beta today. Working very nicely so far - fast, light on cpu, etc. Still, I don't know if I can go on for too long without vimperator! Anyway, the point of this post was to recommend ClickToFlash. It does a nice job of blocking flash plugins, but also lets you whitelist by URL, which is nice for those few sites that you do want to see flash stuff on...
